SEGO KEROYOKAN REVIEW

Hello guys, welcome back to my blog!

In this time I would like to review a food which is recently booming in Surabaya. Some of you might ever taste it. The food is served for birthday party *if you held it at home*, family meeting, friends gathering, etc. This food may be one of other food choices. This food is similar to “Nasi Tumpeng”, but it is different from the serving style. It is usually served on the table or directly on the floor with sheets of banana leaves as the plate.

preparation ^^

Why is it called “Sego Keroyokan”? Because it is eaten by many people and they have to rush to get the food *you don’t need to do it without being worried of running out of food.. hahaha*.

almost ready to serve !! yeayy

You can order it by checking the website at www.nyamuda.com, or you can contact them directly :

  • Whatsapp : 0818503334

  • BBM : 576F752D

  • Instagram : NYAMUDA

  • Facebook : NYAMUDA

You have to order minimum 30 wraps.

The food I ordered was Rp65.000,- each person. I ordered for 50 persons at that time.

DONE !

Sego Keroyokan consists of : jengkol, sambal matah, fried chicken, fried chicken with rica-rica sauce, sego rempah (steamed rice cooked with spices), urap-urap (mixed vegetables with fried coconut), egg with Bali sauce, fried beef with spices, fried nuts, dadar jagung (like a pancake made from corn), pineapple with santan (product from coconut), fried small shrimp, salted fish, and lalapan (mixed raw vegetables).

Because it was served cold, it didn’t taste like what I expected. But I think, it would be tastier if it was served warmly. The sambals were delicious. The food tasted so so.

Thank you for reading!!

God bless you :)
